Impact of Social Media on Global Digital Divide

For my research paper, I will explore the global digital divide and the impact of social media on developing countries.  My paper will consist of the following:

• overview of global digital divide including statistical info
• how social media usage is closing the gap
• social, economic and political effects of social media usage 
• pros and cons of using social media as a teaching tool in the classroom
